We made it into the paper

Today was a great day, we had an article written on our business and it was a 2 page spread in our local paper. We had a couple of calls today on it and some scheduled appointments, lets just hope it continues. The pictures they decided to use are a photo of our front shop, a picture of sky (he's so cute anyways) and of christopher, katie and sara giving each other a hug. It was cool! I'm trying to find a link to the story, but for now havent had any luck. By the way, I will post some other family pics as well. I have such a great family (sisters, mom, in-laws, etc, etc. Oh and an update on Alexis's car, she ran out of oil, and didnt think about it until the light came on, and well by then it was too late, her car is totaled. So she is on to her third car. Hmmm, I think car maintenance should be a required class before people get their drivers license. Just a thought.

Our Business

I thought I would share a little about our business. We saw this lovely little building last summer and thought it would make a great portrait studio, the building needed a lot of work, and it took us 3 months to fix it up, and lots of money, but it was worth it. It's a fun little business. Joe works in an office attached to the studio so he can be here with me. Alexis also works for us from 9-1 (she drives all the way from Cedar to work and back everyday, but says it's worth it). We are getting our first ads mailed out this week (exciting!) and a "business spotlight" has been written and will be published in our local newspaper next Wednesday. I hope this will help us with our business. So far we have taken some great photos for customers, but my favorite is still taking photos of my family. I will post some here. Ok, I'm going to try this out

Here I go. I have seen so many neat pages and thought I really should have one of my own. I have a lot to say (which those who know me, know this to be true) and so much to share, so I thought this would be a great way to do it. So hopefully as time goes on I will find some cute things to post and share. In the meantime, be patient with me as I begin my journey into the "blogging" world.
